Erpeng Yang

Erpeng Yang was born in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He is now studying for his Ph.D. and is currently focused on tissue engineering of skeletal muscle. He is not Dong’s doctoral student but a co-supervised Ph.D. student from the School of Medicine.

Fun fact

l Erpeng Yang will become an orthopedic physician at Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital after graduation.

l His supervisor Dr. Jinzhong Zhao is majoring in Sports Medicine and performs arthroscopic surgeries on the knee and shoulder.
