Qijing was born and raised in Shijiazhuang, Hebei. She completed an Eng. B in Composite Materials and Engineering in ECUST, where she gained her first experience in organic synthesis and worked on the preparation of self-assemblies with different morphologies. She pursued her research on self-assembly in the lab of Prof. Jiaping Lin, where she focused on the design and preparation of polymeric micelles with high drug-loading capacity and templets of self-assemblies. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, eating and playing with lovely cats.

She enjoys cooking. In most cases, the foods were not bad. But sometimes, they were really disasters.
